Retrofitting a classic

The 4-star Golden Tulip Al Barsha Dubai Hotel is the winner of the award “Hotel of the Year 2014” in the Middle East and North Africa. The hotel's comprises of 125 Contemporary Rooms & Suites. SESC were engaged as MEP contractor for the Installation of Mechanical and Electrical equipment as part of the Golden Tulip Hotel refurbishment. The challenge for this project was being able to perform a retrofit of MEP services for a live hotel without dramatically affecting operations. The project was a success for all parties and the hotel systems were updated to fall in line with greater sustainability performance and revised brand standards.
