Illuminating the worlds largest airport

Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 comprises a 1-kilometre-long x 80-metre-wide six-level concourse building, a six-level below-ground 20-metre-deep terminal and baggage handling facilities, and a three-level car park and mosque. SESC were engaged as an MEP Consultant for all the light fittings and control systems in terminal 3. The project was a precursor to the full retrofit of every luminaire in the facility. Our teams worked throughout the terminal creating detailed reports of location, condition, type, replacement etc all to a micro level of detail. The teams worked both land side and air side for the project rising to the challenge of working within a fully operational international airport without any effect on operations.
