Independent Commissioning Agent

An opportunity is now open for an experienced Independent Commissioning Agent. This position is intended to target individuals with experience managing large teams and have an interest in an ambitious position within our Commissioning Services Division.  This role is responsible for projects within the MENA region and can be involved in certain projects globally.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Building Services Engineering or Engineering degree in MEP, Environmental, or Architectural field

  • Fifteen (12) or more years’ experience in Commissioning and/or related fields

  • CSA Grade 6 accreditation, desirable but not essential

  • Membership of a recognized industry association such as BCA, ACG, NEBB or CSA, desirable but not essential

  • Other qualifications related to green building certification such as LEED or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent is a plus.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex multidisciplinary commissioning projects

  • Independently manage complex projects with multifaceted technical scope and stakeholder management both internally and externally (internal technical team, relevant authorities, clients, subconsultants, specialists etc).

  • Providing guidance and leadership to more junior team members and providing line management

  • Liaising with the project owner and senior team members to ensure the project is on track to achieve all it’s targets.

  • Support the commercial success and stability of the service offering

  • Experience in managing PMC activities at a client / consultant level is a plus.

  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 and Procore is a bonus.
